Bring Bread to the Table
|
Want to help with Sunday worship in a simple but meaningful way? Consider providing the bread we share during Holy Communion. We’re looking for volunteers to bring soft, pita-style bread for each worship service. The bread should be soft and easy to break and share, and small enough to fit comfortably in the communion basket.
It’s a simple way to contribute to worship and to the meal we share together at Christ’s table. Email Maryanne Siegert to coordinate your donation. |

A sign up sheet is posted on the SAM Bulletin Board. For questions, see Susanne Howard. |
All I need is Jesus .... and Peanut Butter
|
We’re challenging our 9:00 and 10:30 worship services to see who can bring in the most small jars of peanut butter for our Open Door Food Pantry. There will be a winner at each service - plus one Grand Prize Winner overall!
Why Peanut Butter? Peanut butter is one of the most requested items at our Food Pantry. It’s filling, a good source of protein, shelf-stable, and requires no cooking or refrigeration - making it especially useful for individuals and families facing food insecurity. A small jar can provide several easy meals and snacks, which is why keeping peanut butter on our pantry shelves is so important. Bring a jar - or bring a few - and help your service win the Peanut Butter Battle! |
