We extend Christ's love by providing nourishing meals, groceries, and compassionate fellowship to individuals and families in our community. More than simply meeting a physical need, this ministry offers hope, dignity, and a reminder that every person is welcomed, valued, and cared for. Whether sharing a meal, receiving a bag of groceries, or lending a listening ear, the Open Door Feeding Ministry reflects our commitment to serving our neighbors with open hearts and open doors.

Open Door Pantry

​We distribute bags of groceries to individuals and families ​every Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, year-round. There are no requirements—everyone is welcome simply by showing up.

On average, we distribute 70 bags of groceries in the summer and 30 bags in the winter months.

Food donations made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church may be tax deductible. For purchased, unopened food, this is generally the amount you paid.  

​As individual tax situations vary, we encourage donors to consult a tax professional or refer to IRS guidelines regarding charitable contributions.

At St. Peter's, everyone is welcome at our Free Lunch, served every Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Join us for a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where neighbors, visitors, families, and friends can gather for food and fellowship.

​Our dedicated volunteers prepare each meal with care, reflecting Christ's love through hospitality and service. Whether you're seeking a nourishing lunch, friendly conversation, or simply a place to belong, our doors are open to you. No reservations, qualifications, or cost—just a heartfelt invitation to come as you are.
